BOOK DETAILS: Formed in 1882 Glentoran have a long and proud history (having recently won our 124th trophy, the Irish Cup) meticulously researched and compiled by Roy France. Now a comprehensive hardback book with full colour dust jacket and running to a full 500 pages has been published. Enhanced by forewords from Glentoran legends Billy McCullough and Trevor Thompson and containing over 225 photographs and illustrations the book is a "must" for every supporter! The book format is as follows. Each of the 119 seasons from 1882/3 to 2000/1 are presented as a "chapter" with a textual review of the matches and events during the season supplemented by a full results list giving the date, venue, opponents, result and scorers of every Glentoran game played. From the start of the Irish League in 1890 there is also a summary table of appearances and goalscorers for each season. Finally the book contains a comprehensive statistical section on the club's achievements, records and honours.
